My most ambitious recording project to date, this new CD features my playing serpent and contrabass serpent in repertoire spanning four centuries,
assisted by members of the Baltimore Symhony Orchestra, the Gloriæ Dei Cantores choir, Berlioz Historical Brass, Deborah DeWolf Emery, piano
and Jennifer Ashe, soprano. With a detailed 24 page booklet, this disc, details of which can be found here on my website, brings this most unusual of instruments to life
in a new way.

My newest bass trombone recording project is one of solos and duets for tenor and bass trombone with
British tenor trombonist Nick Hudson, accompanied by pianist David Chapman and the
Williams Fairey Band, Thomas Wyss, conducting. Follow this link to a page with photos from the recording

This new disc features highlights of the 2002 Great
Northern Brass Arts Festival held in Manchester, England on September 7, 2002. Featured performances are by some
of England's top brass bands including Black Dyke Band, Williams Fairey Band, Household Troops Band and
Fodens Band. Included is my solo performance of Kenneth Coook's solo "The Passing Years" with the Fodens Band. Tenor
Trombonist Nick Hudson is featured playing Ray Steadman-Allen's great solo, "The Eternal Quest" with the Household
Troops Band.

My newest solo recording project is CORNERSTONE which features
performances of hymns and gospel songs accompanied by four pianists (Patricia Yeo,
Stephen E. Gerber, Wes Ross and Beatrice Bush Bixler) along with readings by trombone and
radio legend Bill Pearce. This resource provides links to information on how to order

My solo recording, PROCLAMATION, accompanied by Britain's
Black Dyke Mills Band, was released to critical acclaim. In 2007 I took over production of the CD from
Doyen Recordings and I updated the printed material but the audio content remains
the same as the original issue. In this resource, I give detailed information about the
recording, include complete program notes and reviews from publications from around
the world, and provide an order form for those who wish
to purchase the CD as well as its companion book by Roger Challoner Green, In

My album, Take 1, features me as soloist in live
performances given in concert from 1975-1997. The repertoire includes the Rimsky-Korsakov
Trombone Concerto, Alan Hovhannes' Symphony No. 34, Op. 310

Since 1998 I have been Music Director of the New England Brass Band. The NEBB's third and newest release is "The Light of the World", a CD which

The new book, Mastering the Trombone was written by Edward
Kleinhammer (Bass Trombonist, Chicago Symphony Orchestra 1940-1985) and me.
In it, we discuss the importent facets of trombone playing and include many exercises
and musical examples to help players develop and hone their skills. In this
resource, I give detailed information about the book as well as include reviews of
the publication and an order form should you wish to purchase a copy.

This resource contains dozens of pages of free, downloadable PDF files of music written by Eugene Adam, former
trombonist and tubist with the Boston Symphony Orchestra (1918-1947). A former first prize winner at the Paris
Conservatory (1903), Adam's music is an important look into early 20th century trombone pedagogy. Also in this
resource is a free, downloadable copy of Joannes Rochut's edition of the Bach Two Part Inventions. Historic photos
of Boston Symphony brass players are also included in THE EUGENE ADAM COLLECTION.
